Regeneration — Part 3
All is perfect
A caterpillar was chomping away on leaves when a monarch butterfly settled on a nearby branch and greeted him.
“Jimmy,” said the caterpillar, recognizing the voice, “is that you?”
“Yes,” Jimmy replied.
“Boy, have you changed!”
“Yes,” answered Jimmy. “We are all meant to, you know. You too will change, Frank, it’s just a question of time.”
“Will it hurt?” Frank was concerned.
“Only your ego.”
“How did it happen, Jimmy?”
“I lost who I thought I was and found who I needed to be.”
“So — where did your wings come from?”
“They were always inside me, Frank.”
“But — where is the old you?”
“There is no old or new. I, just like you, am in a transformational flux, same as the cells in your body are — in a constant state of becoming.”
“Oh.”
“The eggs I lay will become caterpillars which then will become butterflies.”
Frank pondered this.
“Then… then… all is perfect?”
“You’re right, my friend,” Jimmy said. “All is perfect”.
It is not only in the realm of caterpillars that something must be lost in order for something to be gained.
This is perfect, that is perfect — if you take the perfect from the perfect, what remains is still perfect.
Regeneration is, in fact, the acceptance of perfection, of this yin-yang relationship.
Nature is, indeed, this revival dance of life and death. We are Nature. Regeneration is consciousness, and consciousness is acceptance.
we cannot accept what we ignore
we cannot accept what we deny
we cannot accept what we fear
So let us accept this tiny light inside us, this syntropy — the life-preserving force. This instinctive consciousness kicking in, emerging from entropy, flowing forth from the profound, innate consciousness that lies within us.
This light is sparkling inside us and will bring out our wings.
Together in this fragile sphere, this tiny blue dot hurtling through the universe, we will find our wings — and be led back to consciousness.
A tremendous syntrophic force will completely change the world as we know it.
Like Frank –who doesn’t yet know it– we are about to fly.
