A Boiling Point, Not a Hand-off

If the first chapter of our civilizational transformation was about choice — what we called The Great Election — then this second chapter is not about decisions, but about pressure. The pressure of convergence. Of stories meeting. Of worldviews colliding.

This is not a peaceful passing of the baton.
It’s not the old world gently bowing out while the new one rises.

It is something far more turbulent. It is a boiling point.

To understand it, we borrow a metaphor from physics: phase transition.
When you heat water, it stays liquid — until it doesn’t. At 100°C, it becomes vapor. Same substance. Different state.

Civilizations do this too.
For centuries, the human project has been heating up — more energy, more control, more complexity. But now, climate limits, digital disruption, and social fragmentation are forcing the boil. The system is no longer stable.

This isn’t collapse. It’s transformation.
Not a metaphorical crisis, but a real change of state.
